I try to imagine the difficulties that the people of Haiti must be facing right now... With everything you own having been washed away - home, possessions and even livelihood. With no money to start rebuilding your life. With possibly the fear that yet another hurricane could come and destroy what little you have done alreay.
But I find it difficult to do. I find myself complaining about the weather while I wear a thick coat and fashionable scarf. I complain that I don't have enough time to go do the shopping, but never stop to think about the people in Haiti who have little choice in what they get to eat. I moan that I don't want to clean the house, but forget to appreciate that I even have a house!
Please do not forget about Haiti! We are still raising funds to help EI Haiti help the local communities to rebuild their homes and their lives. Please continue to pray for Haiti.
