The Terena Indigenous Church has held several conferences for indigenous women. They are planned and carried out for women, with the support of men just to do the cooking and take care of the children. For them that’s a great opportunity to empower and value indigenous women. They take place in different areas in Brazil, with the goal to reach a number of different ethnic groups. Attendance ranges from 35 to 200 women, depending on the number of villages nearby. Emmanuel International Brazil has helped support these events and would like to invite you to be involved in this important activity.
