After a very successful first phase of the KWETU project, we are looking at extending this project.

In the first phase, technology trials and the introduction of kitchen gardens transformed the ability of subsistence farmers, especially women, to grow an abundance (often a surplus) of vegetables and marketable produce, converting unfarmed and infertile wasteland into a productive and dependable asset.
