Emmanuel International Tanzania worked with Operation Agri on the IMARIKA Project in Tanzania. IMARIKA is a Swahili word which means ‘to be strengthened’.
The project aims to improve the lives of subsistence farming families through economic empowerment, environmental restoration and church support. Activities support the community through village community banks or VICOBA, tree nurseries and plantations, conservation agriculture, poultry and beekeeping and the promoting the use of fuel efficient clay stoves.
Watch this video from Operation Agri about the IMARIKA project in Tanzania. It gives a good overview of how wide the project is!
